Glass Conditioning and hot end equipment.
BH-F Engineering specialises in the development, design, manufacture,
installation, commissioning and support of glass conditioning systems and
machinery for use at the hot end of glass production.
The BH-F 400 Series range of Forehearths and Working Ends
has helped the glass industry realise the benefits of reduced energy consumption
together with improved levels of glass homogeneity and temperature stability.
The 400 Series design has been proven in many different installations.
Over 50 Working Ends have been installed,
the largest of which has a capacity of 400 tonnes of glass per day.
In addition, over 600 Forehearths, ranging in capacity from just one tonne of glass
to over 200 tonnes per day, have been successfully operated.
BH-F also produces a range of gob feeder mechanisms,
all of which are extremely adaptable to gob forming over a wide variety of sizes
and tonnages wherever glass is pressed or blown.
Over the years, BH-F has been continually improving its glass conditioning technology,
incorporating the latest state-of-the-art innovations.
This is illustrated by recent developments in Oxy-Gas Combustion systems for forehearths,
the Electronic Slow Gob (ESG) Feeder Mechanism and automatic advanced temperature control systems.
