Flaconage
Colorant Forehearths
The nature of today’s Flaconage market requires glass
suppliers to have flexible
manufacturing facilities, geared towards producing relatively short runs of
high quality glass containers.
|
BH-F have been at the forefront of glass conditioning
technology for over
80 years specialising in the
production of tailor made glass conditioning solutions,
and machinery for use at the hot end of glass production.
|
|
The proven and trusted BH-F 400 series
working end and
forehearth continues to
offer solutions to the increased demands placed upon today's glass producer.
The combinations of
longitudinal cooling,
high turndown, side heating and
graded insulation are used to give a high cooling capacity, with relatively
low cooling air, lower fuel consumption and consistently good
thermal homogeneity and stability. BH-F have also developed the
Oxy-Gas Combustion systems
for forehearths and working ends to further enhance these capacities.
BH-F 400 series Forehearths with or without a
colorant section have been
supplied
for container, cosmetics, tableware and architectural production.
When the forehearth incorporates a
colorant section, the glass
colour range which can be produced covers shades from pale tints to black. The
colour range is normally produced from a base of clear soda lime glass, but can
also be produced from borosilicate or lead glasses. New colours can be created
from coloured glass produced in the furnace itself.
Our forehearth systems can be supplied with the latest automatic advanced
temperature control systems or alternatively can be integrated into customer's
own control system.
In addition to BH-F’s
Mechanical
Feeder Mechanisms, a range of
Electronic
Feeder Mechanisms
are available.
which are compatible, according to capacity with every kind of forming machine.
The patented
Cascade Spout bowl
proven highly successful in larger capacity feeders
has now been incorporated into the range of smaller capacity electronic feeders.
