All supporting steelwork should be designed to take
AT LEAST the maximum for the forehearth width.
WARNING
Support loads given are for complete forehearths full of glass.
During construction the load on the rear supports could be
significantly lower. It is, therefore, important that the
rear of the forehearth is held down during construction
to ensure stability.
