The lighting industry requires innovation and reliability
in the glass conditioning process to service the needs of
incandescent bulb and tubing manufacture.

BH-F has a proven track record in working with the market leaders
to provide solutions on lines feeding high speed ribbon machines and blowing machines
for bulb production, and Danner and Vello glass tubing facilities.

The proven and trusted BH-F 400 series
working end and forehearth
continues to offer solutions to the increased demands
placed on the glass producer.

The combinations of longitudinal cooling, high turndown side heating
and graded insulation are used to give a high cooling capacity,
with relatively low cooling air usage, lower fuel consumption,
consistently good homogeneity and temperature stability.

Developed from the experience gained by providing
hundreds of forehearths
to solve glass conditioning problems in a wide variety of glass sectors,
these forehearths can be tailored to suit a specific application
whist remaining flexible enough to cope with changing circumstances.

Additional features available on the BH-F 400 Series include Variable Speed Fan (VSF)
cooling and combustion systems. –

The addition of this equipment in various lighting plants have increased
production flexibility, while sustaining improvements in Glass homogeneity, and
stability during continuous production runs.

Side to Side firing adjustment can be incorporated
on specific control zones.

  • Removes the need for valves,
    linkages and actuators
  • Improves controllability
  • Simplifies the set up.
  • Reduces maintenance.
Our forehearth systems can be supplied with the latest automatic advanced temperature control systems or alternatively can be integrated into customer's own control system.
