    The BH-F/BOC Oxy-gas forehearth has now been proven for high temperature applications

    The forehearth was developed by BH-F (Engineering) Ltd and BOC Gases with the assistance of Corning Incorporated.
    It has been designed to provide highly controllable heating of the side glass in a forehearth
    Without the high levels of combustion products that affect centre glass temperatures and internal forehearth pressure.
    The result is a more responsive forehearth that delivers higher throughput, better thermal homogeneity and improved glass quality with less refractory damage.
