Working with our customers, a need for a twin gob feeder
with the accuracy of a platinum tube feeder was identified
for use in the production of low weight high accuracy stemware

Utilising the latest servo motion control
technologies it was established that:
  • Real time monitoring of gob weight was
    achievable by the press manufacturer.
  • Real time plunger height control had been proven.
  • The height control accuracy of the plunger
    required for stemware was now available
    at an affordable price.
Due to the exacting requirements of the initial concept there
was no question that the feeder should be based upon our
900 Series feeder, which is an established standard of accuracy
and reliability within all types of hollow glass production

Used in conjunction with the unique 400 Series forehearth and
a BH-F temperature control system, this enhanced type 900 feeder
can produce unrivalled efficiency, accuracy and reliablity.

As this feeder is based on the type 900 Feeder,
unique features are available to you in the enhanced model,
such as the opposite-handed, 'mirror-image' version.
This allows shear angles round to 90o right,
which was previously unobtainable.

  • optional 30oL to 90oR). The unique epicyclic gearbox gives long life and minimises play,
    It also allows a full 360o of differential adjustment on the run.

They all undergo a thorough test-run in our works, to make sure they are in perfect working order when despatched, and you can be sure that they leave on time.     Our engineers can also provide operator training on site or off in all aspects of feeder and forehearth technology.
