InnovationHybrid 1000 Series Electronic Feeder Mechanism with 50 series spoutThe hybrid of the 1000 series electronic feeder with a 50 series standard depth spout gives a greater degree of flexibility in meeting customer requirements. The 1000 series feeder, using precision servo systems, with the latest generation of ballscrews and specially designed arcial shears, combined with the small 50 series spouts allows the full range of 50 series production to be produced. Alternating Gob Delivery SystemSpecially designed assembly to meet a customer need where a 50 Feederwas to deliver gobs alternately to two presses mounted in the basement. Using commercially available Gob Distributors and Scoops plus BH-F designed Water Cooled Drop Tube and support system a unique solution was provided. 50 Feeder Alternative Plunger Bearing LocationWhen electrical heating is required on a 50 Feeder it becomes necessaryto raise the plunger beam location to accommodate the element blocks. With this new arrangement higher loads are transmitted to the upper bearings. To reduce the wear and increase the life expectancy a conversion kit has been designed including a new bracket with re-circulating ball bearings and a longer linkage. RH 900 Series Feeder with LH Shear MechanismWhen a 900 Series Feeder was re-located by a customer from a:90 Deg. Left Shear Angle to a 77 o. Right Shear Angle position a new 900 Series Left Hand Feeder unique to BH-F was contemplated. Wishing to maximise as much of the existing equipment as possible we engineered a new arrangement using a LH Shear Mechanism and Outboard Bearing saving the customer an unnecessary capital cost. Direct Drop FeederTo accommodate a Direct Drop into a Press special measures are required. We have in the past removed part of the spout casing in order to position the press head in the desired location. The new ESG FEEDER spout casing has been designed specially to accommodate this feature in the future. Reduced Factory Floor SpaceAt BH-F we engineer our equipment to suit individual needs when appropriate. In the past we have re-designed combustion and cooling systems positioning the fans above the forehearth when traditionally they would be located underneath but site conditions did not allow this. Triple Blender SystemSpecially designed arrangement to meet customer requirements.Three blenders individually driven at variable speed in either direction with the capability of varying the height in the glass and to be totally removable.
