Production in today’s Tableware Industry requires
innovation, the use of "Know-how" and the ability to stay a step ahead of the
competition.
The range of BH-F 400 Series
Forehearths and
Working Ends utilise all of
these characteristics and in addition helps the manufacturer realise the
benefits of reduced energy consumption together with improved levels of thermal
homogeneity and stability.
Additional features available include
VSF cooling and
combustion systems.
|
Variable speed fans (VSF) on the cooling and
combustion systems remove the need for:
- Valves
- Linkages
- Actuators
thus improving controllability, simplifying the set up and reducing
maintenance. |
|
When the forehearth incorporates a
colorant section, the glass
colour range which can be produced covers shades from pale tints to black. The
colour range is normally produced from a base of clear soda lime glass, but can
also be produced from borosilicate or lead glasses. New colours can be created
from coloured glass produced in the furnace itself.
Our forehearth systems can be supplied with the latest automatic advanced
temperature control systems or alternatively can be integrated into customer's
own control system.
BH-F produces a range of Mechanically and
Electronic servo driven gob feeder mechanisms
all of which are extremely adaptable for gob forming over a wide range of sizes
and weights wherever glass is pressed or blown.
BH-F has developed the
Electronic Slow Gob Feeder
Mechanism and also the
Stem Feeder specifically for
the Tableware industry
The Electronic Slow Gob Feeder Mechanism is predominantly aimed at the tableware
producer who is presently manufacturing medium to large pieces by hand, and who
wishes to automate their process.
|
|
The Stem feeder is an addition to our product range,
allowing for the first time the ability to produce DOUBLE gob
stemware with Platinum tube feeder accuracies. BH-F have enhanced a precision
900 Series Feeder using AC brushless servo-controls to produce the accuracy
and stability required for stem production.
|
|
The Stem Feeder,
900 Series,
1000 Series Electronic
Feeders and the ESG feeder can all utilise the BH-F
Cascade spout design to
maintain the temperature homogeneity efficiency achieved in the forehearth as
the glass flows through the spout.
