- 1917 The company was founded by W. A. Bailey, who introduced to Britain the first gob feeder capable of delivering successive gobs of uniform weight and temperature, ("Paddle and Needle" type). 20 feeders in total were sold.
- 1920 During the 1920s, the type 144 feeder was introduced and with BH-F forehearths, lehrs, stackers, transfers and conveyors, satisfied increasing demand worldwide for glass container mass Production.
- 1932 Started outright sale of feeders. Previously glassworks had paid a royalty per shear cut.
- 1950 Formation of Lynch International Ltd., which manufactured under licence Lynch glass forming machines and spares.
- 1952 First British made Lynch machine installed.
- 1953 The long association with the Hartford Empire company was discontinued.
- 1954 Lynch International was sold to the Lynch Corporation of America.
- 1961 Introduction of the type 50 feeder with epicyclic drive box.
- 1963 Formation of Electrocast Ltd. to sell refractories Produced by Electro Refractaire.
- 1964 Introduction of type 60 feeder - to suit Roirant Machines
- 1969 Introduction of type 70 feeder - the largest Feeder of its day.
- 1971 Realised capital by selling out interest in Electro Refractaire.
- 1974 Introduced type 900 series feeder which featured the new BH-F patented high speed plunger mechanism.
- 1977 Discontinued the manufacture of annealing and decorating lehrs and other ancillary equipment.
- 1977 Started development of new forehearths.
- 1978 Introduced hot and cold cullet handling equipment.
- 1979 400 series forehearth introduced at a seminar in London.
- 1980 Established BH-F Sales Inc in Rochdale, N.Y.
- 1981 Received Queens Award for Export Achievement.
- 1982 Agreement signed with St. Gobain for the exclusive worldwide use of their patented longitudinal forehearth cooling principle.
- 1986 Received second Queens Award for Export Achievement.
- 1987 March purchased DSF Refractories Ltd.
- 1987 September Moved BH-F (Engineering) Ltd. from Greenford to Didcot.
- 1988 Acquisition of Warren Technical Associates Inc. (WTA) of Toledo, Ohio Producers of computer based process control equipment, and renamed BH-F Systems Inc.
- 1991 Opened an Office in Prague, Czech Republic.
- 1991 Received third Queen's Award for Export Achievement.
- 1992 Opened an Office in Tianjin, China.
- 1993 BH-F (Engineering) Ltd bought by Compagnie Groupe Fives Lille, who also own Stein Heurtey, SAS, BGE, and Penelectro.
- 1993 Released the Cascade Bowl Spout.
- 1993 Installed the first Mass Heat Extractor In Gallo Glass, CA
- 1994 Released the Pneumatic Feeder Mechanism.
- 1996 Installed the first BH-F Oxy Gas combustion system in Jeanette ,PA
- 1996 Released the Stem Press Feeder (Double Gob Platinum Tube Feeder replacement)
- 1997 Installed the first Electronic Slow Gob Feeder in Bohemia Crystal, Czech Republic.
- 1998 Installed the first colourant rolled glass forehearth from the side of a Float furnace.
- 1999 Installed the first BH-F Archial servo shears mechanism In Bohemia Crystal, Czech Republic.
